Euphoria star Angus Cloud has sadly passed away at the incredibly young age of 25.

Cloud and his family had said their goodbyes to his dad just a week ago and struggled battling with his mental health afterwards.

In a statement his family said “The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. We hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

Angus was primarily known for his role as teen drug dealer Fezco on the popular award nominated HBO series, Euphoria, he also appeared in a couple of music videos for Juice WRLD, Karol G and Becky G, and was set to appear in the untitled Universal Monster Horror film alongside Kathryn Newton, Dan Stevens, Melissa Barrera, Kevin Durand, Alisha Weir and William Catlett, which is currently in production.

A lot of the Euphoria cast are yet to publicly react to the news yet. Alexa Demie (plays Maddy) simply posted “💔” Javon Dalton (plays Ashtray, and worked closely with Angus) paid tribute simply saying “Forever Family ❤️”. Storm Reid (plays Rue) captioned an Instagram story post with “The tears just won’t stop.” Colman Domingo (plays Ali) shares a photo with the cast with the caption “And that was his smile. That was him. May he rest sweetly in peace.”

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson said in a statement “There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”

Other celebrities, Drake, Billie Eilish, Finneas, Kerry Washington, Rachel Zegler, Gigi Hadid, Kid Cudi, Questlove, Greta Van Fleet, Mousa Hussein Kraish, and Denzel Curry have all shared their reactions to the sad passing.
