GLADIATOR II TRAILER

AGATHA ALL ALONG TRAILER

It might have been a quieter year for Marvel with Deadpool & Wolverine being the only cinematic release (side note, screenings are starting to happen so do your best to avoid spoilers if you can). Even on the streaming front, Echo has been the only series set in the MCU that has been released so far (X-Men ’97 doesn’t count, but certainly filled the void). Agatha All Along is the next project to come out and sees Kathryn Hahn return to her character that she portrayed in Wandavision, as she looks to break free of Westview after the Scarlet Witch disappears. I’m glad it looks to be leaning hard into the horror side of the universe, I imagine it will be a PG-13 horror and won’t be too scary for younger viewers and will just have creepy imagery, but I’m glad of that tone. I don’t know if I care enough about this character to be the one that I can’t wait to see and can think of many character I’d much rather be seeing more of or even series I wish were higher up the pecking order than this.

WE LIVE IN TIME TRAILER

When a film features Andrew Garfield or Florence Pugh I pay attention, let alone both of these incredible british actors. Garfield is one of my favourite actors working (is that because he is a perfect Spider-Man? maybe) and I can see in this trailer for this film that he is going to deliver a powerful performance. This film follows the relationship between the two lead characters and the ups and downs of their lives. It looks like a truly beautiful film, that’s gonna tug at the heart strings, another one that could be a heavy hitter come award season.

F1 TEASER

With the British Grand Prix at the weekend, WB decided it would be a perfect time to show off a first teaser for, the awfully named, F1. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, who had recent success with Top Gun: Maverick, F1 has been shotting for a while, but eagle eyed fans of the sport have seen a few peaks behind the scenes with the likes of Brad Pitt doing interviews in character while real drivers are doing their post race interviews. The teaser doesn’t give too much away, but does look to promise high octane and intense sequences as we follow one of the most dangerous sports on the planet. I really hope it’s fantastic, but it has a high bar to reach if it’s going to compete with Rush.
