After seeing this movie, I still don’t believe Paul Rudd could be a criminal! He is too damn likeable!

Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Evangeline Lily as Hope van Dyne, Corey Stall as Darren Cross, Michael Pena as Luis, a lot of Ants and Thomas the Tank Engine.

Ant-Man is the story of Hank Pym wanting to protect his Pym Particles from the person who took over his business after he retired, Darren Cross. When Hank realises that Darren is close to copying his formula and successfully managing to shrink a living organism. Hank decides to recruit criminal, Scott Lang, to perform the heist and steal the formula and the Yellowjacket suit. What follows is the funniest and funnest movie that Marvel has done.

Apart from being a hilarious heist movie, the film is truly about the father-daughter relationship, not just between Scott and his daughter but between Hank and Hope too. The performances in the film where great, everyone was hilarious from Paul Rudd to Michael Douglas and Abby Ryder Forston (who plays Scott’s adorable Daughter). The real star of the film for me was the ants. They were funny and I know they did actually use real ants where possible which is awesome. Everything when Scott was shrunk was really good and looked great and visually I thought it did a great job to give a real sense of the size of Antman.

Overall I give Ant-Man 8/10! One of the best Marvel movies, I hope it does what Guardians of the Galaxy did last year and good word of mouth gets people to see the movie. Marvel really can’t do any wrong.
