Mission Impossible Rogue Nation Review

People go Rogue… In Mission Impossible… Shocker!

Mission Impossible Rogue Nation stars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris and Alec Baldwin.

With the IMF being taken over by the CIA, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is on the run as he tries to take down the Syndicate, an organisation who are a terrorist group. His team are trying to help and along with British agent Ilsa (Rebecca Ferguson) but the team can’t decide if she should be trusted or not. The team must stop this organisation before the CIA catches up to them and before they take anymore lives and expand.

Honestly, this is the probably the best Mission Impossible film so far! The action is not stop but does not go over the top. It really does itself a favour by having the plane scene at the beginning, then we can see the amazing action that happens throughout the rest of the film. The action was perfect. It somehow gets on the line where the action is still very realistic before coming to much like a comic book film. We get an incredible scene underwater and one of the best car/bike chases ever seen on film! The performances by everyone are pretty good, Simon Pegg acting as the comedic relief is perfect and does not feel out of place, it works brilliantly. Tom Cruise is an amazing action star and he will go down in history as one. Rebecca Ferguson does a good job as the woman of the film, I actually really hope she returns for the Mission Impossible 6. I also though Sean Harris was a really good villian and at times the film really reminded me of a Bond film, and Sean’s character would have worked as a Bond villian too. This film I would say is as good as Skyfall, if not better! It is definetly better than Ghost Protocol, which was amazing on it’s own.

Overall, Mission Impossible Rogue Nation 9/10! I thought it was impossible for this years films to get better, but this year is really getting better and better and destroying expectations.
